Please click to view the Basketball Rules and Regulations One rule seems to be causing a lot of question....number of players. It states as follows: Page 2, Article V, Number 5: The player roster must have a minimum of 12 players listed Page 3, Article V, Number 6: Each team must have 10 players present before the 3rd quarter begins. Every player should be invited to every game. **You should not, under any circumstances, have only 10 players at games. If you have a player or players sick or injured, your attendance can be as low as 10 players before your team will be declared with a forfeit. This rule is designed only for the purpose of teams that have players out due to sickness or injury. Your minimum of 12 players should be at all games unless sickness or injury prevents them from attending. If you choose to keep more than 12 players, you may rotate any players you keep above your minimum of 12. |
